Killing A Kit :: August

Hi everyone! I want to share the last pages I made using the Scraptastic Classy Girl kit and add on!
I'm saying that the kit is killed but really.. I have a ton left over which I'll add to my stash!
In April I had a friend visit and we took a ton of photos, to many to make all 12x12 layouts with; so I wanted to do a Project Life style page using some of the pictures!
Here is the left side of the page!

I wanted to use up some more of the sequins, buttons, bows, stickers and of course paper scraps.
I love how all these papers have bold prints but all go together!

Here are some close ups!

I didn't have to do much since the papers speak for themselves!

And the right side

Love love love!

That Happy card is my favorite!

So this was my version of killing the August kits! I hang on to all my scraps and pretty much everything so I can make pages like these!
Leave me a comment telling me some ways you like to kill a kit!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Lovely pages! I love the simplicity, but gorgeous pages you always create. I try to kill a kit making project life cards as well. I also have made cards with my kit scraps and my own "patterned" paper for a layout. I'm basically all over the place! Love that you're on a new design team!

  2. haha....we made shirts this week just like the photo in your second spread....it was so fun! i'll let you know how the washing goes.

    love these pages as always....your style is a bit source on inspiration for me <3

    when I was on design teams I used to kill kits by either making minibooks, cards, or a craft like origami boxes with personalized embellishments on the top. For the crafts, I'd usually make a bunch of the same to give to my friends or the scrapbook group I met with once a month : )
