Double Spread :: Lynx Lake + 2 Videos!!

Today I have a 12x12 and a divided page to share with you! These pages will lay side by side in my 2013 album. I thought of splitting this post up but the video quality isn't the best this time around so I'll just go ahead and post them together.
I moved my scrapbooking supplies into a different room and forgot to change the exposure on my camera so the lighting looks super bright :( I apologize and hope you still enjoy the videos!
Let's take a look at the photos first!

This layout went in a totally different direction then I was planning, but I love the way it turned out!

I've been hoarding these papers and forced myself to use them! I stitched around the papers by doing one small section, cutting it off, and doing another small section that way I get the thread hanging from multiple parts of the page instead of just one spot if I were to stitch all the way around without stopping. 

I've had pieces of a really old Pink Paislee rubon set just sitting in my supplies for years now. I didn't use them all up on this page but I'm glad I put some of it to use. I like the texture it gives to the page!

2013 :: Little Black Dress Page Reveal

The last page from the June Little Black Dress Kit Club kit. 

This one is my cover page for my 2013 album. Yes I know it's already June but I can't scrapbook in order (this is why I wouldn't be good with a legit Project Life album!)

Anyways... onto the layout!

Another awesome paper that I just couldn't cut into! 

*heart* those gold Thickers!

This sticker was a perfect saying for the cover page to start off a new (not so new) year!

Well there we have it! That wraps up my layouts for June and wraps up my time with LBD. They will not be selling subscriptions anymore and will have their kits on super clearance soon so keep checking in with shop for great deals. I had fun working with their kits and I'm sad to see them go.

Hello Hi :: Little Black Dress Page Reveal

Hello hi! 

Another layout today using the lovely Little Black Dress kit!

This has got to be one of my favorite papers... and I used it all for this page!

I wanted to spread it around but just couldn't cut into this one! lol

So busy but so awesome! I didn't have to do much to this page as you see but I wanted to use the lovely bright pops of color from the papers in this months kit. 

Love these cute little Pebbles stickers that came in the kit! Made an easy and cute title!

I have one last layout to share with you from this months kit!

NYX :: Little Black Dress Page Reveal

Today I have another page to share using the June Little Black Dress kit!

So since this photo is take of all the NYX nail polish I own I thought it might be cool to actually use the polish on the layout! I love that way it turned out! The colors stayed nice and bright on the lovely black background paper and now I might have to use nail polish on my layouts more often ;)

I love how it didn't soak in!

I added some orange, yellow and green thread for an added "embellishment" and added a few of the periods from the gold Thicker set that came in the kit.

Love these Thickers!!! And although the chevron paper didn't come in the kit, I wanted to incorporate it since it was the background in the photo.

Through The Viewfinder

Hello all!

So I've been wanting a Kodak Duaflex camera and yesterday was the day to buy one! 

I saw one along with different types of cameras in a booth at an antique store one day... was regretting I didn't buy it, went back yesterday and the one I wanted was the only one left! 

It was just meant to be ;)

So although they don't sell 620 film anymore you can still use these cameras. 

You have to make a box to black out all the lighting and use your normal camera to take a photo though the viewfinder. I will make another post about this along the road when I make a legit box for it!

I was to anxious yesterday and made a ghetto one out of paper. It wasn't the most ideal setup considering I used white paper and there is still light coming through. This is what it looks like before you crop and edit.

Whoever owned this camera took great care of it! Almost too good because the lens isn't dusty enough :P

Here is my favorite after cropping and editing the photo using Picasa 3.
