Hello Let's Chat

Hi everyone! Sharing a quick post today with another cute card using the May Scraptastic Club kits!
I seriously love all the little bits that were included in the May kits!
And here it is!

Here is a good example of making the best out of your mistakes when it comes to crafting. The white Hello diecut ended up ripping off the speech bubble card I have in the background so I went ahead and just cut the other side off and I started the card from there. I thought it would be fun to but the Hello on some pop dots and layer behind it. I added some more diecuts and enamel dots to make a quick yet cute card!

When you make mistakes while crafting do you start all over again or work with the mistake to make it look like nothing happened? :)

Some cute cards!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I made using the May Scraptastic Club kit, The Story I Heard.
So I have to admit I'm not the best at card making for some reason... before I started doing 12x12 pages that's all I ever did, but I think I've lost touch over the years.
This kit and add-on came with TONS of die cuts that are perfect for cards so I gave it a go!
Here is what I came up with!

I took some tags from my stash and started adding some die cuts from there. I love all the little sayings from these packs! I just added some bakers twine to the top of the tags and some resin flowers I made to add a little more dimension.

Overall I am pretty darn happy with the way they turned out!
I should make it a goal to create at least one card from each kit...maybe ;)
What is your niche? Are you a card maker or do you stick with layouts?
Thanks for stopping by!!

Valentine's Day Card

Hey everyone! I have another card to share with you plus a video of the process :)
I made this card for my boyfriend so I didn't want it to be too girly, however I had a hard time sticking to the
anti-girly theme haha! I know he will still like it :)
I'm not able to give him the card today though since he's away for military training,
so we are going to have a late Valentine's Day.
Hope you all are having a great Valentine's Day!!

Aren't they so fun!! I was dying to try this out and finally had a project that was perfect for them!
I love the way they look and love the added touch of glitter on a simple card like this.

Christmas Card

Here is a Christmas card I made for my Grandma, the front will hold a gift card
so its a two in one gift:)
I used all scraps for this card. I had a ton of old Christmas papers left over from a couple years back that I still love! I believe they are from Bo Bunny, but don't quote me on that one! lol
I did some embossing on a vintage book page and love the way the white snowflakes look on it!
The bakers twine is by Martha Stewart, the stamps I used are from Pink Paislee and Inkadinkado.

*Just For You* Card

I have to say that I can't get over my addiction to the butterfly punch. I made this card to go with a 20 layout album that I can't show yet. Once it is mailed and they recieve it I will share all the layouts with you! Not at once though since theres soooo many! But you will see that I used the butterfly punch for each page!! I figured I'm safe showing the card, so here it is!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Card Set

For the card base I used Hero Arts Kraft Notecards, I believe I got them from Michaels, if not then TwoPeasInaBucket.com. For the papers I used the Curio collection from Basic Grey. The call me stamp is new from Unity Stamp Company, I got that from BlueMoonScrapbooking.com The friends forever was from a dollar stamp set from Michales and the Thank You stamp is from Making Memories, a set I got from Tuesday Mornings. I used the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch, some Recollection perals and peral brads from Michales :)
