Daffodil

Hi! Today I'm sharing another Scraptastic Club layout using the September Everybody Talks kits!
This one was inspired by the September sketch they have posted in the forum, LOVE it!!
Take a look at the sketch!
SC Sketch
I wanted to make a page just using one photo but still wanted to use the sketch. I didn't follow it exactly but it was the definitely the inspiration for this layout :)

This Life Noted

Hi everyone!!!
Today I am sharing my This Life Noted pages made using the This Life Noted September kit from Scrapstastic Club!
You may have seen this post already on their blog but I thought I would share it here as well :)
If you've been following me then you know that I don't really do Project Life however, I do a form of it. Whether it's a whole month, one week or even one day/event and I don't want to scrap a 12x12 layout with; I will use the Becky Higgins page protectors as a way to document my story.
Here is what I made using the kit!

My Birthday night!
I don't have a ton of photos from this night but the filler cards are a great way to help with that problem!!

IMG_8238-001
I went ahead and made a simple title card for this spread using the alpha stickers that came in the kit and the adorable wood veneer stars!

IMG_8245-001
A lot of these cards are so cute on their own! Just added a little sequin from the kit!

IMG_8243-001
I wanted to add a spot for some journaling so I grabbed a pocket and tag from my stash, used a stamped phrase from the We Are Family stamp set, added the wood veneer hearts and layered the pocket on two of the This Life Noted cards.

Aren't these camera adorable too!? I used the stamp set that came with the kit to add some "splatters".

And that's it! Pretty simple since the cards already do the work for you!! I still have a ton left plus embellishments!

These bows are becoming a new favorite!

The cute flair badge is from an older Studio Calico kit and the August kit came with an Amy Tangerine stitching kit.... the arrows are my favorite :)

Killing A Kit :: August

Hi everyone! I want to share the last pages I made using the Scraptastic Classy Girl kit and add on!
I'm saying that the kit is killed but really.. I have a ton left over which I'll add to my stash!
In April I had a friend visit and we took a ton of photos, to many to make all 12x12 layouts with; so I wanted to do a Project Life style page using some of the pictures!
Here is the left side of the page!

Left
I wanted to use up some more of the sequins, buttons, bows, stickers and of course paper scraps.
I love how all these papers have bold prints but all go together!

Here are some close ups!
Left Close Ups
I didn't have to do much since the papers speak for themselves!

And the right side
Right
Love love love!

And the close ups
Right Close Ups
That Happy card is my favorite!

So this was my version of killing the August kits! I hang on to all my scraps and pretty much everything so I can make pages like these!
Leave me a comment telling me some ways you like to kill a kit!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This Life Noted

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a This Life Noted page using the August This Life Noted kit!!
I love the bright colors and little embellishments in this kit... and the stamps!!

mar PL 1

mar PL 2
Can you believe I'm all the way back in March still!? I cut the top part off another TLN card to add a blank spot for a title, added a wood veneer piece, some sequins and circled the month!

mar PL 3
I took the "Remember This" from a 3x4 card and glued on the cute flair badge!

mar PL 4
I used the camera stamp that comes in the kit to make my own 3x4 cards that match, used my typewriter to add the names to the photos and another wood veneer piece!

mar PL 5
Used one of the cut-aparts and more cute sequins!

mar PL 6
The little frame in the back is from the stamp set and I cut the arrows from a 3x4 card, used some more tiny wood veneer pieces and called it done!!
...........
Never mind... not done! A couple days later I decided to add a little insert, so here it is!!
Bowling Insert 1
Here is the front and back sides of the 4x12 insert!
And a couple close ups.
Bowling insert 2 Bowling insert 3 bowling insert 4
Okay, now I can call it done :)

Click

Hello hello there!
Today I am sharing a pretty simple layout made using the Classy Girl kit and add on from
Click 1
I knew I wanted to keep it simple, like I always do for the most part, but I wanted the page to pop out a little more so I added this pretty paper to the background and stitched along the edges. The triangles are cut from a patterned paper and I added a couple sequins for added embellishment!

Click 3
Loving the stickers that came in these kits!

Click 2
A simple title and called it finished!!

Don't forget to go check out the Scraptastic blog to see what everyone else is making with their kits!!
Have a great day!
