Thrift store finds

Lately I have been obsessed with dishes. I have no idea what it is but I can't get enough of them. I love going to the new goodwill that just opened and salvation army to hunt down some cute ones. Yesterday I might have gone a little too crazy ;) I brought home nine dishes total!! Here are a couple photos of some :) The star bowls are from target in the one dollar section!! Handmade bracelet

Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've made a crafty post! My computer is still down but I thought I'd make a quick little post from my phone :). I've been wanting to make a bracelet for a while now and I recently gathered all my jewelry making supplies and got to it! I was inspired by a bracelet I bought a few years back from American Eagle. So here it is… I used a bunch of mixed metals and some new glass pearls I got from hobby lobby. I love the color of them! I used a Tim Holtz charm and a 7Gypsies key.

My Computer is Down :(

Hey everyone! I know I haven't been on in a while. Just letting you know my computer is down.

I won't be able to post any projects until it can be fixed. I won't be able to make any videos either since I can't load the footage onto my computer :(

I can check my email from my phone. I hope it can be fixed soon because I am going crazy without it already!!

Valentine's Day Card

Hey everyone! I have another card to share with you plus a video of the process :)

I made this card for my boyfriend so I didn't want it to be too girly, however I had a hard time sticking to the

anti-girly theme haha! I know he will still like it :)

I'm not able to give him the card today though since he's away for military training, 

so we are going to have a late Valentine's Day.

Keeping Track of 2012 :: Layout #1 + Video

I finally have my first 2012 layout to share with you. I know its already February 

but I just received most of the supplies last night..... a month late. 

Not BlueMoons fault.... the post office held onto it for waaaaay to long. 

Scott was a lot of help, I love their customer service. 

Anyways, onto the layout. 

I am using Crate Papers for this album, I have never worked with Crate Paper products

before but I thought a lot about this. I love that you can mix their collections for the most part since they keep 

the same style throughout their lines. Not to mention I love the patterns, stickers and embellishments they provide. Hope you like :)

I used the glitter technique from swissgirlDesigns 

again.... I am obsessed with this. I love the way it looks. :) 

I did machine stitching behind the photos and on the little embellishment cluster on the bottom.

I used a small Maya Road stamp set for the stars (its a baby set, not sure of the name) and I used Melissa Frances adhesive pearls.

Valentine Cards

I can't believe how quickly time goes by!!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so I decided to make some cute little cards :)

 

Now... I can't take full credit for this one...

those Glitter Splatters are a technique I learned over at swissgirlDesigns

Aren't they so fun!! I was dying to try this out and finally had a project that was perfect for them!

I love the way they look and love the added touch of glitter on a simple card like this.

Mini Album- Cali 2008!

Hey everyone!! I have a mini album to share with you!

I used the Playground collection by Echo Park!

I love the bright colors and the fun feel to this collection!

I know its not new but I've been hanging on to it for a while now to use on the perfect project!!

I stitched on each page with my new sewing machine! I know I'm not a pro or anything... yet! lol

But I am happy with how it turned out, my not so perfect stitching gave the mini a fun feel!!
