Double Spread :: Go See Do + 2 videos

Sharing another 12x12 and Project Life style page with you today!
For these pages I used the Studio Calico June kit, Roundabout.
Totally love this kit! (I think I say I love everything lol!) When I viewed it online I didn't think it was all that great but the photo doesn't do justice! This kit is perfect for travel pages and the chipboard set that comes in the kit is totally awesome!
I haven't worked on my album from my Washington trip in a while and this kit got me going again!
Here is the 12x12 page!

I've had this flair badge sitting with these pictures, and when I saw the Go. See. Do. chipboard piece, I just knew it was meant to be! I stuck the ticket from the ride in a little Whisker Graphics bag :)

Here is the process video!

And onto the Project Life style page!

I kept this super simple but still love the way it turned out!

The cork cameras didn't come in the kit but they are made by Studio Calico and super awesome!

Onto the process video!

Hope you enjoyed a second double page post!!
Again... I apologize for the lighting in the videos!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Washington Album :: Love This Place

I have another spread from my vacation album... I need to get this thing done already!!
Again no video so I do apologize!!!
I mainly used my Studio Calico February kit for these pages. I absolutely LOVE the papers that came in this kit, so brights and colorful!!
Here are the pages :)

And a closer look!

IMG_2622-001
*Drool* Love how this one turned out!! The "hello" is a cameo cut that I purchased before I bought my machine. Glad I finally put it to use!!

IMG_2619-001
This little square started completely different looking but I do love it!

IMG_2618-001
So I wanted to add 5 of these little potty people since there were five, including myself, that went on this trip but I just didn't like the way it looked. I might add a fifth somewhere at some point but for now I'm just sticking with four.

IMG_2623-001
I didn't need the exact date on this spread since it's continued from the previous page but I thought I would put my new 7Gypsies stamps to use and I don't regret it one bit :)

IMG_2625-001
This has to be one of my favorite papers ever but I believe it was exclusive to the kit... sad. I know Studio Calico came out with the same design but different colors that is also awesome and already in my stash!

IMG_2626-001
And can we talk about these wood veneer pieces? If you haven't noticed... I kind of have an arrow obsession and loving that trend! I believe these were also exclusive to the kit which again... so sad because I would totally purchase more! I can already tell these will be a hoarding item for me if I don't force myself to use them up!

Thank you once again for stopping by!!
Have a great day!

Washington Album :: Here At Last

Hello hello there!
I have have a double spread today but no video, sorry!!
Here are some layouts for the Washington album with the divided page protectors! Love these things!

IMG_2565-001

Some close ups :)
IMG_2550-001
The awesome yellow background paper is from the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic collection by American Crafts, The pink paper is a cut out from a sheet I received in a Studio Calico kit called Vivid05. The thickers are Rockabye, the blue paper is from an older Echo Park line, some Studio Calico wood veneer of course and My Minds Eye enamel dots!!

IMG_2563-001

IMG_2559-001
Always have to add a date somewhere!

IMG_2575-001

IMG_2580-001
Oh how I love October Afternoon stickers ;) This one was just perfect for this page; from the Fly A Kite line. The arrow was a negative background piece I cut from my Cameo, those little pieces always come in handy! And of course another enamel dot!

IMG_2577-001
I love this little "layout", the stamp (exclusive to a SC kit) was the perfect size for this wood veneer frame!

IMG_2585-001
I didn't have a lot to work with when it came to the pink paper so I cut a small strip from that card to bring a little bit to the second page. The letters are from Prima Marketing, they were an off white color so I used some Mr. Huey's in Opaque White to brighten them up a bit!

IMG_2583-001
And here is the last little "layout". I knew I wanted some pace to journal and I usually like mine hidden so sewing this pocket was simple, just cut down the tag a bit to fit better, added another negative piece and enamel dot and called it done! :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Washington Album :: Let's Take A Walk + Video!

Why hello there!!
Today's layout is a divided page! This one is for my Washington album and I love working with these page protectors (I will probably start project life as well, working on my plan).
I don't have a photo of the supplies this time around since everything was already cut and I had a plan!

Here is the video!

And here is a closer look at the finished page!

IMG_2532-001

This lovely little page will sit to the left of my Blue Sky layout!

IMG_2515-001
IMG_2520-001
I so love this little arrow! As I mentioned in the video it was cut from my Silhouette Cameo. Just search arrows and it should pop up along with a ton of other cut arrows. If you guys haven't noticed.... I'm a little obsessed! No idea why ;)

IMG_2506-001

IMG_2524-001
I LOVE the Dear Lizzy products. Sometimes I have a hard time using adorable products but I try to push myself to use what I have so I don't grow tired of it :)

IMG_2511-001

IMG_2521-001
Sooo... another arrow! And these tiny little letter stickers that I am in love with! They are from BasicGrey, these ones here were exclusive to a Studio Calico kit but they offer other colors of a full sheet here.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Washington Layout :: On The Road + Video!

Back again with another Washington layout!
Here are the supplies I pulled for this layout!

IMG_1398-001
It seems to me I am having an arrow theme for this album lol. I know arrows are pretty popular in
the scrapbooking world at the moment and they sure did get me with them!
I love how something so simple like arrows and add more attention to certain areas on a layout!
And onto the making...
Here is a closer look at the finished page!
IMG_1409-001
I love using these large photos! These photos were taken from the car driving back to Seattle from my Aunts house. I was so pleased with the way they came out. A little tip is to take tons of photos of the same scene. This works out for me pretty well since I am a little picky and I've learned my lesson from snapping only one shot and having it turn out bad. :)
IMG_1425-001
Here is a closer look at the title! I love these thickers with the map print on them! Perfect for travel pages! These Thickers were the inspiration for this whole page! I love finiding inspiration in my supplies. I loved the hints of green they have on these letters and realized I had paint and ink that matched. I liked how the yellow looked with the green, it helped keep this whole page on the bright side!
IMG_1426-001
Yes I realize the photo is sticking up :( I fixed that though lol. I take my layouts outside to get better lighting for them and it was pretty hot, the sun lifted the corner, but thats ok it's an easy fix!
I love those little hexagon stickers. I bought them not knowing what I was going to do with them but they add a little something and are great for layering! I somewhat used this "click" stamp as my form of journaling. Since I didn't add pockets or a place to write I figured these photos and this stamp can do the talking. The photo of my grandma in the car reminds me of when I took these pictures and the stamp reminds me of how many I took LOL.
IMG_1420-001
And now onto the fun little cluster. (I know it looks like it says "his way" but it says "this way" I promise lol). So I really thought that I wouldn't use this badge because seeing it alone and knowing I haven't been to those places wasn't that appealing to me. Once I started to pull all the supplies for this layout I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought and actually loved the way it looks. It ties in nicely with the title of the page. Overall I love how this little cluster turned out. I am pleased with the colors for this page!
What was the last thing you scrapbooked about? Love to hear what you are working on!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a great day :)

Washington Layout :: Vintage + Video!

Hey everyone! Back with another Washington layout!
This time I used a page protector with nine 4x4 pockets in it!
Once again this was the first time working with a page like this and I found it to be a lot of fun!
Here are some of the products I used

IMG_1132-001
Please leave a comment if you are interested where I got anything from :)
And onto the video!
Here is the finished layout!

I went a little photo crazy in this antique shop and I couldn't forget about some of my favorite photos, so I decided to include them without filling up this whole page with just pictures. I fit four photos into the very last pocket and wanted to embellish the "cover" so it was obvious there was more included into the layout then what is visable.
Thanks for stopping by! Please leave a comment!
Have a good day!
